Inspiration for Untitled
While at the beach in Florida I set out to photograph the waves and water. I turned to look down the beach to see a runner coming my way, as my focus always turns back to people, this scene got my attention. I loved the almost monochrome tones at that moment, the introduction of the runner completed the image.
Artist’s Biography
I am involved in photography again because I have found a passion for the medium that was eluding me in the past. I am excited to be focused on these new projects and directions.
Over the past 18 years I have had my work published nationally and internationally in a variety of magazines, from Easyriders to Adoptive Families. Won numerous awards, such as best wedding album in Michigan from Professional Photographers of Michigan. My focus has always been people and still is.
Some things can not be taught but must be experienced for one’s self. Capturing the right moment is one of those things. Seeing the soul expressed and exposed and knowing when it’s real. That’s what it’s all about. Everyone knows it when they see it, yet in the pace of daily life it is often overlooked. My joy and passion is seeing those fleeting moments and sharing them with the world.
